iRostrum’s lot templates determine what information is recorded about your lots and how this information is presented to your bidders on the auction platform.
Each template comprises of three different components:

The lot UI (User Interface) - sets how the data fields are presented on the lot detail page with the ability to set the overall page format and structure of components

The Standard version includes everything that comes as part of your solution straight out of the box. iRostrum’s Standard Lot Template looks like this:

| Title* | Free text | The main headline or name of the lot — what bidders see first. |

| Description | Free text | The full description of the lot, which supports basic HTML markup. |
| Catalogued | True/False | Used by cataloguers to mark when an item has been catalogued and is ready for the auction. Internal reference only, not shown on the public UI. |
| Low Estimate* | Whole number 0 – 99999 | Shows the lowest value you expect the lot to sell for. If set to 0, it will not be shown to bidders. |
| High Estimate* | Whole number 0 – 99999 | Shows the highest value you expect the lot to sell for. If set to 0, it will not be shown to bidders. |
| Reserve* | Whole number 0 – 99999 | The confidential minimum price the lot must reach to sell. Not shown on the public UI. |
| Opening bid* | Whole number 1 – 99999 | The starting bid amount that bidding begins from. |
| Buy-it-now | Whole number 0 – 99999 | Lets bidders instantly buy the lot at a fixed price. If set to 0, it will not be shown to bidders. |
| TAX Scheme | Predefined value | It is used to determine if tax is applied to a lot during invoicing. The list of tax schemesis managed in your Settings. |
| Video url | Link to embedded Vimeo or YouTube video | Upload links to YouTube or Vimeo content |
Note: Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
You can search by keyword or lot number, and use filters such as lot state, lot price, or category to narrow down the results.

This section shows what can be achieved with light configuration and minimal requirements. iRostrum allows you to enhance each component of the existing standard lot template with additional fields. The image below shows examples of what’s possible.
Define as many new fields as you need to represent your lots. You can also create lookup lists, which can be managed in your Settings.
Select which additional fields should show on the bidder search and filter. For optimal user experience we recommend keeping things simple and relative to the number of lots being presented.
Select which additional data set fields should show on the Lot detail page when populated and how. Examples of what can be done are shown below:
